THE GAME
What is Pokemon Lazarus?
Pokemon Lazarus is a ROM hack of Pokemon Emerald created by Nemo622, the developer behind Pokemon Emerald Seaglass. Rather than returning to Hoenn, Lazarus takes players into the original Ilios Region, a new setting inspired by Greece and presented in a classic Game Boy Color-style visual direction.
Ilios combines towns, islands, mountains, forests, ruins and coastal areas with an original storyline, new characters and Team Chimera. More than 400 Pokemon can be found across the region, with encounter pools changing between daytime and nighttime in many outdoor areas.
The game is now complete, while v2.0 expands and refines the full release with additional Mega Evolutions, balance changes, DexNav improvements and numerous fixes.

What’s new in Pokemon Lazarus v2.0?
More Mega Evolutions
Typhlosion, Carracosta, Aurorus and Tyrantrum received new Mega Evolutions, while Mega Crabominable and Mega Golisopod were also added.
Optional Level Caps
v2.0 adds the option to disable level caps for players who prefer progression without that restriction.
DexNav Shiny Rework
The DexNav shiny calculation was rebuilt with updated rerolls, chain bonuses and Search Level behavior.
BATTLEPASS Cheat
The v2.0 cheat list adds BATTLEPASS, which provides access to a selection of useful battle items.
EXPLORE ILIOS
A region built around discovery
Pokemon Lazarus places exploration at the center of the experience. Different encounter tables, University research tasks, hidden items, quests, fishing pools and optional collectibles give you reasons to revisit locations throughout the Ilios Region.
