Several evolution items are obtained through the shard exchanges in Sofos City. These are the documented ways to obtain each shard.
Red Shard
Held by wild Dwebble or obtained through the Mining Minigame.
Green Shard
Held by wild Natu or obtained through the Mining Minigame.
Blue Shard
Held by wild Alolan Sandshrew or obtained through the Mining Minigame.
Yellow Shard
Held by wild Sandshrew or obtained through the Mining Minigame.

Can I buy evolution items in Pokemon Lazarus?
Yes. All evolution items can also be purchased from an Elite Four mart.
Where is Black Augurite in Pokemon Lazarus?
Black Augurite is obtained on Marmaro Island from the girl inside the Fossil House.
Where can I get a Dawn Stone?
The Dawn Stone is available from the Yellow Shard Exchange in Sofos City.
Where can I get a Dusk Stone?
A Dusk Stone can be obtained from an Acrisia Mountains quest or from the Green Shard Exchange in Sofos City.
Where can I get a Water Stone?
A Water Stone can be found at Riverwalk Trail South after gaining access to Surf, or obtained from the Blue Shard Exchange in Sofos City.
Where can I get Razor Fang?
Razor Fang can be found in Wanderer’s Woods after gaining access to Surf and in the Sea of Vulcai.
Where can I get Razor Claw?
Razor Claw can be found in the Fresco Isles and Nyx Trails.

Linking Cord is available from the Green Shard Exchange in Sofos City.

Cant find the Shard Exchange in Sofos City. 🙁
Took me ages to find it too! It’s on the right side of the town, where that battle arcade is, go right and up to get to the little building next to it!

well very late for me, but in 1.1 the green shard exchance is in the litle building right and up from the battle tent (that building with three pokeballs)

The Link Cable item is used to evolve all trade exclusive evos. 😀
Dusk stone doesn’t work on Murkrow for me, any reason why?

Razor fang evolves gligar but that doesn’t work either lol
you just “use” them item rather than hold + level up

Locking the evolution stones behind shards and tying them to random Pokémon is absolutely asinine. I’ve caught a whole box of fucking dwebble and haven’t found a single red shard. Is there an easier way to do this? I just want to evolve my growlith and I’m not having fun. Why couldn’t this just be bought in a shop?
once you get to the Elite Four the shop sells all the Evo items. you can get shards from mining in on Mamaro Island if you want them earlier
Thief would probably be a more efficient method if I had to guess. Use it on a dwebble, and if it doesn’t have one just run and use the dexnav for another one
Hi guys, mining on Marmaro Island is super easy and fairly fast to get shards. You also get items to sell and revives! So give it a try :^)
